But that doesn't change the basic message, that a system which has been pump primed into overdrive by artificially low interest rates for years must eventually settle into a real balance between supply and demand that adequately takes RISK into consideration.
Greek problems are but one small symptom of the Euro Crisis - which stems from most of Europe's desire to have an economy like Germany without the education and work ethic and culture of Germany. Greece is not Germany and they can't share a checking account any more than you would share yours with a pot smoking thirteen year old who thinks he knows everything and is entitled to your standard of living.
A much larger problem is America's abuse of the dollar as the premier world reserve currency. As Henry Ford said, “It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.”
The huge banking institutions are like a virus that eventually kills the host. Obama inherited a system with systemic flaws, and in my opinion, is purposefully, intentionally, wildly overspending to accelerate the onset of collapse and crisis that can lead to martial law and dictatorship.
In my opinion, Bible prophecy warns of the same financial collapse, with hyperinflation and famine as the result.
