Astrology vs. Astronomy and Prophecy - the original meaning of the stars

Original full and much longer bible astronomy article HERE
The origin of the Zodiac:
“A hundred years ago, a number of French skeptics, gathered together a collection of all the numerous ancient mythologies of various peoples of the world, and demonstrated that these showed a remarkable and astounding correspondence to the teachings concerning Christ and his salvation. They said that since these mythologies – which often involve interpretations of the constellations of the zodiac – very clearly long antedate the [Bible] and the coming of Christ into the world, it was obvious to them Christianity was … borrow[ed] from pagan mythology, dressed up in Hebrew dress and pawned off on a credulous world. … [However] none of the skeptics were able to tell whence came these ancient mythologies, and particularly this understanding of the zodiac – constellations of the sky. Where did these signs come from? These scholars discovered that their antiquity cannot be ascertained; no matter how far back we go, they are always still there!"
Ancient civilizations understood a very long cycle of cosmic events leading to periodic destruction of civilization on Earth. They warned us through myths, monuments, and religions that incorporate stories about the end times filled with descriptions of the skies during their prophetic visions, which allow us to calculate dates when such astronomical arrangements are possible.
In End Times and 2019, I explained that:
"There is a way to understand and reconcile every valid source of end times prophecy. It requires two simple keys. The first key is realizing that different cultures all tell us stories which are meant to be understood from an astronomical point of view. The night sky is like an enormous clock, and ancient cultures describe unique arrangements of heavenly bodies to show us when future events will occur. The second key to understanding end times prophecy is discovering any particular culture’s grand climax event and interpreting it astronomically.
Christianity’s climax event – the filter through which the Bible’s end times prophecies should be viewed – is an ancient Jewish wedding ceremony between Christ and His bride. Bible prophecy is much easier to understand if we shift our focus from events in ancient Israel and direct our attention to the future wedding in the sky. No religious beliefs are necessary to understand that the Bible has encoded astronomical information detailing the timing of an apocalypse in our near future. This is not to say that the traditional understanding of the Bible is wrong or irrelevant – but the astrotheological interpretation of the wedding ceremony is what will give us the clearest timing of future events. The Bible has an end times message for us if we accept that it describes a Jewish wedding ceremony with astronomical bodies as the main characters."
In Antichrist 2016-2019 I added more detail on Bible astronomy and forensic astronomy - how they have been used in prophetic warnings and how understanding their method unlocks a key to Bible prophecy in particular, and allows us to calculate dates at which the astronomical descriptions seen during prophetic visions will actually occur in the skies.
