Daniel Unsealed for 2019
In End Times and 2019, I argue that Daniel's 2300 year prophecy successfully predicted the events of June 1967 when Jerusalem was united under Jewish/Israeli rule.
Daniel 8:13-14 ...'Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said, unto two thousand and three hundred days, then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.'
This refers to the Jewish Temple and a purification after enemy forces have defiled it. This prophetic event was foreshadowed when the evil Seleucid King Antiochus, a precursor to the Antichrist, was defeated and Jews reclaimed the Temple in 165 B.C.
Even back in 1825, Adam Clarke wrote in his Bible commentary that we could expect Jerusalem to be under Jewish rule in 1966 based on this prophecy, looking forward 2300 years from Alexander's victory over the Persian army at the Battle of Issus in 334 B.C. But Clarke did his math wrong by counting a non-existent year zero, and was one year off from 1967, when the Jews took all of Jerusalem back from Arab/Islamic rule. Case closed, right? A success for Bible prophecy!
But the video below suggests that we should focus on these details of Daniel 8:22 as a starting point for the 2300 years.
"The broken horn and the four horns that arose in its place represent four kingdoms which will arise from his nation, although not with his power."
Alexander died in 323 B.C. His kingdom, his Empire, was eventually divided by the families of his top four generals. The Seleucids ruled the largest portion in Asia... But before they did, Alexander's General Ptolemy, whose dynasty would eventually rule Egypt from Greek times into Roman times - he tried to hold Alexander's empire together in one piece. Wikipedia states that after Alexander's death "a series of civil wars tore his [Alexander's] empire apart, resulting in the establishment of several states ruled by the Diadochi, Alexander's surviving generals and heirs."
There was a "forty year war" after which General Ptolemy handed power to his son in 284 B.C. before dying in 282 B.C. Only then did four horns arise from his (Alexander's) nation...
In the video below, the narrator argues that 282 B.C. is the year that Daniel 8:22 describes, when four kingdoms arose out of Alexander's kingdom. -282 plus 2300 = 2018, before we add a year for the non-existent year zero and reach 2019.
Anyone who reads End Times and 2019 knows I believe there is a great deal of evidence, biblical and otherwise, pointing to end times events in late 2019. Read Daniel's chapter 8 and listen to the video below, and see what you think...

I don't claim 100% certainty that my timeline of end times Bible prophecy fulfillment is on target. But you also shouldn't 100% rule out the possibility that someone can calculate the time of such events based on the mistranslation you know so well of Matthew 24:36 - "No one knows the hour or the day." The original Greek verb, "oiden" translates literally as "no one has known" or "no one knows yet" and only rules out people knowing when the words were spoken in the year 33 A.D. No one knew how to build a jet engine then either.
In Daniel 12:4, the archangel Gabriel shows Daniel a vision but tells him "Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.” Knowledge has increased, both with technology like computers, and with new events and holidays that hadn't started yet in Daniel's time - but that shed new light on end times Bible prophecy for those of us alive today.
Today we have technology, and with computer software we can calculate the positions of astronomical bodies in future skies, and calculate when we will have a match with the descriptions of future skies detailed in the visions of various Bible prophets.
“For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known.” Luke 8:17
“These words are concealed and sealed up until the end time.” Daniel 12:9
“If you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come.” Revelation 3:3
“But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief.” 1 Thessalonians 5:4
(We just need to be awake – alert – paying attention. Then it is possible to know.)
Hanukkah is a Jewish holiday, so most Christians don't pay much attention to it. But Jewish holidays have always been central to the fulfillment of Christian Bible prophecies, and I think the evidence suggests that Christians should be paying very close attention to the timing of Hanukkah next year, in 2019. I have written an entire book about the prophetic signs that line up for December 2019 - but a very condensed version of some of the main points is explained below:
If we take the Bible seriously, we must acknowledge that about one third of it is prophecy. There were prophecies about Israel being re-created as a nation - an event that took place on schedule in May 1948. As explained here: http://www.christiantruthcenter.com/the-fig-tree-generation-the-generation-that-will-not-pass/
"Israel is God’s time piece and in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21, Jesus used Israel to tell us of a generation that will see all things prophesied be fulfilled." The "fig tree generation" alive in 1948 when Israel became a nation again. As Luke 21:32 says: "This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled." Jesus confirmed this words when He said, ‘Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away’ (Luke 21:33). I.e. this generation that sees the fig tree shoot forth will not pass till all these things be fulfilled....
The 1948 generation is the generation that will not pass till all things prophesied by Jesus in Mathew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 be fulfilled.
How many years did the Bible suggest there are in a generation?
Psalms 90:10: The days of our lives are seventy years; and if by reason of strength they be eighty years, yet is their labor and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away."
The verse above not only suggests that 70 years is a normal generation, but that if one approaches the maximum of 80 years - it will be a time of sorrow, during which we "fly away" - a clear hint to tribulation and rapture and end times events between the 70th and 80th years of this crucial generation.
"A person born in 1950 is not of the 1948 generation. Neither is a person born in 1960, 2000 or any other year. It is only those born in the year 1948 that are of the generation that saw the fig tree shoot forth." 70 years later is 2018, and the crucial window in time for the final generation is upon us.
With modern astronomical software we can calculate when events in the sky match descriptions of future skies given in Bible prophecy. Many clues point to major events the week of Hanukkah in December 2019. Matthew 22:2 says "The kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son." How do these seemingly unrelated facts come together to suggest the fulfillment of end times Bible prophecy in December 2019 - quite possibly in the form of a POLE SHIFT?
In December 2019, during Hanukkah, all major steps in an ancient, week-long Jewish wedding ceremony will be played out by the movements of the sun, moon, and planets in a heavenly wedding. The giving of the ring to the bride even matches (to the minute) the "diamond ring effect" of the total solar eclipse which is at the right point in the ceremony - while we celebrate Christmas - and it will be visible at sunrise from Jerusalem - fulfilling Isaiah 13:10 very accurately - "the sun will be dark when it rises." Lots more astronomical details (and explanations of how they match prophetic visions - and an ancient Jewish wedding - and how Revelation's "new heavens and a new earth" are achieved through a pole shift) are given in the book: End Times and 2019
Isaiah 13:13 "I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken from its place."
Isaiah 24:1 "Behold, the Lord lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants."
Job 9:5-6 "It is God who removes the mountains, they know not how, When He overturns them in His anger; Who shakes the earth out of its place, And its pillars tremble."
Psalms 46:2 "though the earth should change and though the mountains slip into the heart of the sea."
Haggai 2:6 "For thus says the LORD of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land."
Revelation 21:1 "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away..."
Revelation 6:14 "The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places."
