Does Any Nation NEED Immigration Today?
Once upon a time, America was growing so fast, and developing so quickly, that it couldn't give away farmland or produce the steel and other finished factory products fast enough. Those days are history, certainly by the late 1940s. Once upon a time, America received the best and brightest from other nations. On average, those who yearned for economic, political, or religious freedom appreciated what America ALLOWED (not offered - they didn't get massive welfare handouts) and they worked hard and appreciated the opportunity to work hard and keep most of what they worked for.
This scenario benefited newcomers and the established population for well over a century. Is the same balance in play today? Are the world's best and brightest coming to America for the freedom to succeed based on their own merit and work in a free society? Or are most coming to America for the social welfare freebies?
What about immigrants to Europe? Are they needed? Are they helping?
Or is it more like an invasion? Will it lead to war like Nostradamus predicted? France is in turmoil RIGHT NOW due to the economic burden on their social welfare system.
At the bunkerville blog I read: "I for one am weary of the trope that simply we are all children of immigrants. Thus the more the merrier. Just let those in that wail at our border today. Well, yes and no. Not the quite the same thing. Because this is the difference.
From the cesspool of foreign soil come our neighbors from the South. Bringing their virus of social unrest to the land of opportunity. Once here, they prosper. In return for our hospitality that comes in the form of healthcare, education, living expenses such as housing and food, their virus of social unrest re-emerges.
Not content with the success at life they now have, they turn on their benefactor. They would have their host destroyed. The very system of government that gave them so much must be overturned. They would have America turn into the very cesspool they chose to escape."
Case is point, this socialist moron they just elected to Congress: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez
"The Democratic Socialists of America of coming for your property. Here are Comrade Cortez’s views on the issues.
Democratic Socialists of America Where we stand
I took just one smidgen out of their manifesto- check out the full thing:
Alternative economic institutions, such as cooperatives and consumer, community, and worker-owned facilities are central to economic democracy. Equally important is the assertion of democratic control over private resources such as insurance and credit, making them available for socially responsible investment as well as over land, raw materials, and manufacturing infrastructure. Such democratic control must also encompass existing financial institutions, whose funds can be used to invest in places abandoned or bypassed by transnational capital, such as urban and rural areas, and in sectors of the population that have been historically denied control and ownership of significant economic resources.
Goodbye, America!
