Glenn Beck Comments on the Armenian Genocide 100 Years Ago and how Important it is to Acknowledge It

The world must recognize the Armenian genocide without delay for two reasons, Glenn Beck said in a special Thursday called “The Root: Christian Holocaust.”
“Continued denial of the Christian holocaust is not only a slap in the face to Christians of all backgrounds, but it is a green light for the next crazy genocidal maniac to unleash a new reign of terror,” he warned.
Beck noted that Adolf Hitler referenced the Armenian genocide (do click that link for a brief but insightful history lesson on Hitler's thinking) when plotting his own, saying: “I have placed my death-head formations in readiness … with orders to send them to death mercilessly and without compassion, men women and children of Polish derivation and language. Only thus shall we gain the living space which we need. Who, after all, speaks today of the annihilation of the Armenians?”
Beck said the media typically refers to the Islamic State as “terrorists,” though their goal is not only to terrify. They have openly stated their desire to re-establish the caliphate and slaughter all the “polytheists,” whom they consider Christians to be, in their path.
“For the Assyrian Christians, the rise of ISIS has brought back a nightmare they likely imagined they’d never have to endure again,” he continued. “Their entire population was nearly wiped out by the Ottomans, and now they are under the threat of extinction again.”
“There was no disputing the facts,” Beck said. “The only reason it wasn’t labeled a genocide was because the term didn’t exist. It wasn’t coined until after Hitler’s atrocities. Despite all the evidence, today only 21 nations recognize that a genocide took place. Incredibly — and shamefully — America is not one of those 21 nations.” [Obama won't blame Muslims for anything.]
Beck said American leaders have been “afraid to upset what they view as a rare, stable democracy in the Middle East” because Turkey lashes out, verbally and diplomatically, whenever the genocide is mentioned. The genocide is even illegal to reference in Turkey.
“Why is Turkey so adamant about re-writing history and convincing the world that the mass murder of Armenians wasn’t genocide, but just an unfortunate byproduct of civil war?” Beck asked. “What possible harm could it do to admit the truth now, some 100 years later?”
“If they admit the truth of 1915 — that their founding fathers committed genocide against 1.5 million Armenians — they also have to admit some other tough truths,” Beck said. “Namely, that they are also guilty of slaughtering between 500,000 and 900,000 Greeks, as well as 250,000 to 300,000 Assyrians. All of these deaths happened at the same time, all at the hands of the Ottoman Empire. Two thirds of the entire Assyrian population was wiped out. There were 2 million Armenians at the beginning of 1915. Within a few short years, only 400,000 remained.”
“They are directly responsible for the systematic deaths of over 2 million people,” Beck repeated. “2 million Christians, exterminated by Muslims.”
FYI - you may not realize it, but any family you know with a name ending in -ian, -yan, or -jian (like the Kardashians) is probably of Armenian heritage and probably lost a lot of relatives from this genocide.

I believe we are about to experience FAR WORSE, with many more dead Christians over the next few years. The killing fields won't be limited to Turkey or the Middle East, because those who do not learn from history are condemned to repeat it.
