Daniel describes how the fierce ruler of the end times will cause warfare in the Middle East. But somehow, he does not bother Jordan. Why?

It is only an occasional post that makes me cry when I write it. All of them make me think, and reflect.
But this one, like a few others, made me cry to write it.
God is so tender. He has so much love, and never gives up on anyone. He is also so personal and intimate.
No matter who you are, or what you presently believe, I pray you feel the love that God has for all of mankind.

The prediction by Daniel about modern day Jordan, a Muslim country:
Dan 11:41 He [the fierce ruler of the last days] shall enter also into the glorious land, and many [countries] shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, [even] Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.
The scripture in Daniel not only predicts a real ruler, Tiberius, who fought with the kings of the north and south in ancient times, but it also suddenly fast forwards to the “time of the end” in verse 40. The kings of the north and south attack the new “fierce leader,” and he overwhelms them.
In the Battle of Gog and Magog (Ezekiel 38), Moab (Jordan) is NOT among those listed, attacking Israel. Moab is not mentioned.
Isaiah 63 notes that the presence of the Lord comes forth from Edom, part of modern day Jordan. Bozrah, the capital of ancient Edom, is mentioned.
The One who comes forth from here is covered with blood, and appears to represent the Messiah king, who has come to avenge his people Israel (verses 1-6) and be their Savior (verses 9-10).

It is interesting that the Redeemer/Avenger comes from Bosrah, Jordan (Edom).
Why there?
In Revelation 12, the woman Israel, who gave birth to the Child, who ascended into heaven, escapes to the wilderness to get away from the wrath of the dragon, Satan.
In Zechariah 14:4-5, the Lord Messiah descends upon the Mount of Olives, splitting it in two, and telling the residents of Jerusalem to “flee, as you fled from the earthquake, in the days of Uzziah, king of Judah.”
Is it possible they have fled to the general area of Bosrah, in Jordan?
Some people think it is Petra, but the bible does not mention Petra, only Bosrah.
However, Petra is in the general area of Bosrah, south of the Dead Sea, in ancient Edom, now Jordan. Petra is just south of Bosrah.
“Bosrah” could just indicate the general area, since it was the capital city of Edom.
If so, this may be the reason why the country of Jordan is protected from invasion.
Jordan is sheltering the Jewish people from the Antichrist. Praise God!!!!!!
And the Jewish people are not there alone. Their savior is with them, and leaves from there, to stop the violence and wickedness in Jerusalem.
** And I always thought before that he just descended from heaven at the last minute.
My impression now is that most or many of the Jewish people flee at the beginning of Jacob’s trouble, as noted in Revelation 12.

Jordan is one of the few Muslim nations which acknowledges Israel’s right to exist. I hope it is a friendly haven in the end times. But Jordan might not be completely spared from wrath. As I wrote in Antichrist 2016-2019: Mystery Babylon, Barack Obama & the Islamic Caliphate Isaiah 63:1-4 “Who is this who comes from Edom, with garments of glowing colors from Bozrah, [Petra] this One who is majestic in His apparel, marching in the greatness of His strength? ‘It is I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.’ ‘Why is Your apparel red, and Your garments like the one who treads in the wine press?’ ‘I have trodden the wine trough alone, and from the peoples there was no man with Me. I also trod them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled on My garments, and I stained all My raiment. For the day of vengeance was in My heart, and My year of redemption has come.’” When Jesus returns to Jerusalem, He will already be stained with blood from slaying enemies in Jordan.”
