Julian Assange Arrested - Why Now?
For many years, Wikileaks has been run by Julian Assange out of the political assylum of the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. This man allegedly publicizes secret government files for years and years against the government's will - yet maintains a Twitter account and remains an active source of "leaks" - but I call B.S. - he couldn't do it if they wanted him stopped. I bet if you posted "Alex Jones is Great!" or "Trump is Great!" that's all it would take to be banned from Twitter - and I'm supposed to believe the CIA and NSA couldn't quarantine this man from the internet when he can't move and they know exactly where he is? No way. So in April 2019 they are manufacturing a crisis and arresting him after years and years in Ecuador's embassy. We could speculate that the arrest might provoke a response and that something very interesting might be released around this time. If a big story does arrive, do question who truly wanted it to happen. As described in Wikipedia - "WikiLeaks is an international non-profit organisation that publishes secret information, news leaks, and classified media provided by anonymous sources. Its website, initiated in 2006 in Iceland by the organisation Sunshine Press, claims a database of 10 million documents in 10 years since its launch." Topics include: Clinton emails, Podesta emails, CIA procedures, Guantanamo Bay info and many other secretive things have been published. Vault 7 is particularly intriguing. On BBC news an hour ago...
"Wikileaks co-founder Julian Assange has been arrested at the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Mr Assange took refuge in the embassy seven years ago to avoid extradition to Sweden over a sexual assault case that has since been dropped. The Met Police said he was arrested for failing to surrender to the court. Ecuador's president Lenin Moreno said it withdrew Mr Assange's asylum after his repeated violations of international conventions. But Wikileaks tweeted that Ecuador had acted illegally in terminating Mr Assange's political asylum "in violation of international law".
Home Secretary Sajid Javid tweeted: "I can confirm Julian Assange is now in police custody and rightly facing justice in the UK."
20 August 2010 The Swedish Prosecutor's Office issues an arrest warrant for Mr Assange on allegations of rape and molestation.
21 August 2010 The arrest warrant is withdrawn. "I don't think there is reason to suspect that he has committed rape," says one of Stockholm's chief prosecutors, Eva Finne.
February 2016 - A UN panel rules that Mr Assange has been "arbitrarily detained" by UK and Swedish authorities since 2010
May 2017 - Sweden's director of public prosecutions announces that the rape investigation into Mr Assange is being dropped
Above: the official symbol image for Vault 7 "Vault 7 is a series of documents that WikiLeaks began to publish on 7 March 2017, that detail activities and capabilities of the United States Central Intelligence Agency to perform electronic surveillance and cyber warfare. The files, dated from 2013–2016, include details on the agency's software capabilities, such as the ability to compromise cars, smart TVs, web browsers (including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera Software ASA), and the operating systems of most smartphones (including Apple's iOS and Google's Android), as well as other operating systems such as Microsoft Windows, macOS, and Linux." Vault 7 is MUCH more interesting than the above information implies. Perhaps I will post more on it someday. Suffice to say, Wikileaks says the extensive Vault 7 files they released in 2017 (already more material than Edward Snowden released in total) are less than 1% of what they could release on these subjects.... Yet two years later, nothing else has come out. Yet.  Â
