More and more signs point to a Chinese invasion of Taiwan soon. Not just “in our lifetime” soon, but “don’t plan a trip overseas” soon. China might wait for even more chaos first, but it could happen anytime. The Chinese held back for decades because the United States could protect Taiwan. But can America still defeat China? Right off the coast of China? What if America is busy with Ukraine vs. Russia? What if America is busy with Ukraine vs. Russia and Israel vs. Arabs and Iranians? And a pre-election tinderbox in America? God help us if on top of all that the rumored planned blackout occurs to usher in economic collapse – cause the crisis, offer the solution – with unpopular legal and currency changes like the new Fed-coin. A lot of things are expected to go downhill fast in the coming weeks and months before China even invades Taiwan. When it happens the overwhelming changes will be almost instantaneous. If you aren’t already prepared I’d start figuring out your plans now.
If you’re not convinced you could start paying attention to the news headlines and watch a few relevant videos and read a few government documents on the subject. Of course I’ve been doing that for a long time already and compiled everything I could into my newest release:
DRAGON’S PREY: Will China Invade Taiwan in 2024?
China is not just the size of the United States with four times the population. China is a civilization that has existed for roughly 5,000 years. For most of their history they were – by far – the largest economy and the most powerful and influential people on the planet. When China failed to modernize in the 19th century, Europeans and Americans soon dominated the world. At China’s weakest moment during a civil war in the 1930s, Japan invaded – and lost. With the end of WWII, China’s civil war resumed, ending in almost total victory for the communists.
But their victory remains incomplete, for their rivals fled to the island province of Taiwan, where they have thrived under American protection for 75 years. It was easy to protect Taiwan and maintain its separation from an unusually weak China. But China has been getting stronger for many decades. Now China is on track to become the world’s largest economy again. They already have the largest navy, and while the United States is a formidable military foe – American forces are spread around the world and are focused on Ukraine and Russia. China can focus all its forces on their one primary goal – the unfinished business of their civil war – taking control of Taiwan.
The Taiwanese people enjoy their freedom, prosperity, and democracy. They don’t want to be reunited with the Chinese motherland unless communist rule ends. But the Taiwanese speak of invasion in terms of “when, not if.” At some point the United States may be unable or unwilling to prevent a Chinese invasion. Taiwan’s generals say China will be ready to invade their island by 2025. U.S. Air Force General Mike Minihan says that war with China is likely “before 2025.” Will China invade Taiwan in 2024? There are many reasons to assume the odds will never be more in their favor, and that China will achieve reunification with Taiwan soon – no later than the autumn of 2024.
