New Evidence Himmler May Not Have Died in 1945 in British Custody
I’ve spent years researching a variety of WWII topics most recently focusing on Adolf Hitler’s escape to South America. But in all my research I never saw anything that made me think Heinrich Himmler might have survived. History tells us he surrendered to British occupation forces and killed himself
with a hidden cyanide capsule on May 23, 1945. I have always assumed this to be correct - until the very conservative (and not prone to conspiracy theory) British historian Mark Felton posted the following video on December 24, 2025.
Some of the key points Felton makes:
First, multiple AI software programs making comparisons of photos of the dead Himmler to the living Himmler show no match.
Second, Himmler’s British dental records show multiple new fillings and other work done in Himmler’s mouth since his last official dental visit. Kathe Heusermann, the dental assistant who often worked on him in Dr. Blaschke’s office, said many decades ago that those dental records could not possibly be Himmler’s - until she was told they were the official British dental records from his autopsy, after which point she remained very quiet.
Third, the British had Himmler’s mistress and various relatives in custody and did not allow any of them to see or identify his body.
Fourth, the autopsy made no reference to a scar from a bullet wound received in 1943 when a failed assassination attempt on Hitler led to a bullet hitting Himmler in the arm.
Fifth, the body’s face had notable asymmetries, with visible differences in the ears, the cheekbones, and nostril size. No photo of the living Himmler shows these issues.
Sixth, the autopsy records are classified Top Secret and will not be accessible until 2045.
Seventh, Himmler’s brain was cut out and kept, but the institution that has it denies having it (precluding any chance of a genetic comparison with his relatives.)
This is just what I remember from watching the video above, and it seems like more than enough to warrant suspicion that Himmler survived. If not, why would British authorities fake Himmler’s death in their custody? This seems very fishy - especially after writing Hiding Hitler: The Offer America Couldn’t Refuse - as I know damn well that Hitler, Bormann, Fegelein, and Mueller all made it to Argentina.
