Because our tax dollars are spent on something which inevitably will be misused against us. The software can scan for security cameras within a specific area, intercept or divert live streams, track license plates, and modify past or active recordings without appearing on the target device's user list or leaving standard hacking."
So the capability is there to frame the innocent and erase evidence against those the system protects. And did you know some cameras can do way more than catch you speeding and see your license plate - many can basically Xray everything inside vehicles - detecting all contents in detail? Is it acceptable to have governments and corporations put everyone under constant surveillance and analysis? How often do hacks and data breaches happen? How often are companies set up to gather info privately, with laws governing how they can’t use the data - only to be purposefully bankrupted so another company can buy their assets (your data) with no restrictions? Or should there be a greater concern for basic rights to privacy?
