Obama, Netanyahu, and Iran
As everyone already knows, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is about to speak to the US Congress, and Obama is upset that Congress invited someone Obama doesn't like without his approval.
In a speech yesterday, Netanyahu said: “I have a moral obligation to speak up in the face of these dangers while there is still time to avert them,” Mr. Netanyahu told thousands of Israel supporters in Washington. “For 2,000 years, my people, the Jewish people, were stateless, defenseless, voiceless.” He added: “Today, we are no longer silent. Today, we have a voice. And tomorrow, as prime minister of the one and only Jewish state, I plan to use that voice.”
Of course, the voice is being used to present the dangers of Iran obtaining nuclear weapons - something Obama claims he is working to prevent.

Obama says that if the Iranians agree to his terms in negotiations, "“it would be far more effective in controlling their nuclear program than any military action we could take, any military action Israel could take, and far more effective than sanctions will be.” Obama seems to trust Iran. Most of the world seems to realize Iran says what is necessary but secretly attempts to build a nuclear arsenal. As they have every right to do, to acquire a defensive deterrent. Unfortunately, Iranian leaders want to destroy Israel and the United States, and several other countries in Europe and the Middle East, so few people believe Iranian nukes will not be used to start a nuclear war. Also remember, Iran's leadership openly tells us they want to usher in the end times. A big part of that involves apocalyptic war.
As for Obama and Netanyahu - let's review some quotes from the article "Obama Smears Netanyahu, Coddles Iran" HERE:
"Boehner said he wants Netanyahu to speak because "there's nobody in the world who can talk about the threat of radical terrorism -- nobody (who) can talk about the threat that the Iranians pose, not just to the Middle East and to Israel ... but to the entire world -- (better than) Bibi Netanyahu."
Exactly so. When Congress witnesses Obama doing nothing but playing footsy with Iran while it feverishly pursues nuclear weapons, it has an obligation to act.
Let me ask you: If you were John Boehner and you believed that Obama's approach is facilitating Iran's nuclear pursuits and you had an opportunity to do something about it -- within your constitutional power -- would you take it?"
The article continues to comment: "Obama is either the most naive president concerning threats to our security in recent memory (including Jimmy Carter) or willfully blind to the threats."
I would lean towards "willfully blind" and suggest that Obama wants a complete upheaval of the status quo - a new world order, but nothing like the one George Bush would have wanted. If you want to better understand why Obama wants to restructure the pecking order of a world in which America was on top - and restructure the rankings - read
