Rumors Around The World - What the Heck is Happening?

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence was called back to Washington D.C. suddenly - some sources say Air Force Two turned around mid-flight.  "According to the Boston Globe, Massachusetts commiteeman Tom Mountain said that Secret Service told him President Donald Trump ordered Pence back to Washington mid-flight."

VLADIMIR Putin today called an urgent meeting with defense chiefs - was it over the deaths on a Russian sub, or something else?  The Russian leader cancelled his schedule for a meeting with his defence minister Sergei Shoigu.

Allegedly, the European Security Council was also called in for urgent meeting.  On Russia Today's web site: "A rumor that the “European security council” was holding an unscheduled meeting on Tuesday prompted further speculation that all of these events were somehow related."  Other sites also mention this: EU Council, Russian and American Leaders Reportedly Pulled into Urgent Meetings

This despite the fact that there is no such entity as a "European Union security council."  Perhaps the rumor meant to suggest that Europeans were trying to get the United Nations to rush into a security council meeting.

An article on Israel's debka.com says there was a battle between an American and a Russian submarine off the coast of Alaska, and that this is why at least a dozen Russian naval personnel are being reported dead on a Russian submarine.

As of the time of posting, there is no clear answer.  I guess we will have to wait!
