The 12,000 Year Cycle
The Greeks and Egyptians described periodic cycles of destruction well. In Plato’s TIMAEUS the Egyptian priest tells Sólon there were many world-age ending disasters before Greek civilization:
“Solon, you Greeks are always children: there is not such a thing as an old Greek.” And on hearing this Solon asked, “What do you mean by this saying?” The priest replied, “You are young in soul, every one of you. For you possess not a single belief that is ancient and derived from old tradition, nor is your understanding grey with age. And this is the cause: There have been and there will be many and diverse destructions of mankind. The greatest destructions will be by fire and water, and the lesser ones by countless other means.”
“…That story, as it is told, has the form of a legend, but the truth of it lies in the occurrence of a shifting of the bodies in the heavens which move round the earth, and a destruction of the things on the earth by fierce fire, which recurs at long intervals. At such times all those dwelling on the mountains and in high and dry places suffer destruction more than those who dwell near to rivers or the sea. When, on the other hand, the gods purge the earth with a flood of waters, all the herdsmen and shepherds that are in the mountains are saved, but those in the cities of your land are swept into the sea… The water does not pour down over our fields from above. On the contrary, it all tends naturally to well up from below.”
“This power came forth out of the Atlantic Ocean, for in those days the Atlantic was navigable; and there was an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Heracles; the island was larger than Libya and Asia put together, and was the way to other islands, and from these you might pass to the whole of the opposite continent which surrounded the true ocean; for this sea which is within the Straits of Heracles is only a harbor, having a narrow entrance, but that other is a real sea, and the surrounding land may be most truly called a boundless continent.”
Plato claimed Atlantis was destroyed in a cataclysm around 12,000 years ago. Could there have been a larger land mass near the Azores, and would sailors from Greece or Egypt have known that if they sailed west like Columbus later did, they would reach other (Caribbean) islands and then the Americas that “surround” the ocean?
Randall Carlson’s chart wraps history around the circle roughly every 26,000 years - one cycle of precession. Notice the straight line starting near the top marking the beginning of the Age of Leo, where 5 major disasters have been found in the archeological and geological records every 25,920 years. One myth about a solar micronova and a pole shift disaster at this time - at the start of the Age of Leo - has survived in the story of Samson.
In our most recent version of this retelling of events, Samson represents a solar hero. His name, Shimshon in Hebrew, is related to the Hebrew word shemesh, meaning sun. Samson’s strength is associated with the long hair flowing from his head. He tears a young lion apart with his bare hands, letting us know this is the start of the Age of Leo. (In Egypt, the Sphinx - originally carved with a lion’s head - is aligned to face directly at the rising of the vernal equinox sun at the time of the start of the age of Leo.)
Samson’s act involves a beehive and honey inside the lion, indicating that a new golden age dawns from this violence, but not before Samson’s hair is removed (the sun’s energy output / corona / solar wind is briefly but greatly weakened) his eyes are put out (the sun and moon look unexpectedly dark) and Samson is tied to the two central pillars of the enemy’s great hall (the north and south poles / world axis) where he is granted new strength and
tears down the two pillars, killing everyone - in a pole shift catastrophe followed by a “new” sun returning with normal golden light output again.
Referring to Carlson’s chart of cyclical destructions above, the line at the start of the Age of Leo (solar fire) marked by 5 known catastrophes continues across the chart as the start of the Age of Aquarius (pouring water) where 3 known catastrophes have occurred. We are entering the Age of Aquarius now, in the early 21st century. Are we due for a pole shift flood catastrophe in our lifetimes?
