The Hunt: Provoking Red Vs. Blue?
Not having seen The Hunt, I can't tell if the premise is as divisive as the trailers make it out to be. It seems to be about a liberal elite who act like they own the world and have they right to hunt and kill right wing deplorables for sport because they're subhuman. Some articles say that isn't true, and that we shouldn't believe "The Hunt is really the one-sided screed of hate that revels in the gruesome murders that wealthy liberals inflict on hapless “deplorables,” as it has been portrayed in fevered editorials across the US conservative media."
One comment online noted: "A 'healthy country' does not make morally depraved 'entertainment' that is designed to encourage the population to attack one another like mad dogs."
I agree - unless your goal is to promote hatreds, or to help incite civil war - something America could experience - especially if the economy tanks.
Watch for yourselves - at least the trailer - the movie may get canned due to negative publicity, though anything this controversial should generate other options for watching it soon.
