I'm pretty certain Israel has had nuclear weapons since the late 1960s and has already been able to launch missiles at targets as far away as Russia if necessary - for decades. But problems with Iran, especially in Syria, arming Hezbollah - on top of other long term problems - is prompting Israel to prepare even more for the next war. My readers know I believe economic collapse (starting now in Turkey and other emerging markets) is a likely precursor to dictatorships and a march towards war as foreign scapegoats are used to take the blame of failed policies. The Islamic world in particular seems ripe for gathering millions of willing martyrs ready to fight enemies real and imagined in Israel, America, and Europe.
