For fifty years, the PLO and Hamas have used terrorism to attempt to claim lands that Jordan, Egypt, and Syria lost in a war to Israel in 1967. If this article reflects officially sanctioned Saudi opinion, then it may signal more than a lack of support for the failed tactics used towards the creation of a new Palestinian state - it may prove their is a serious Saudi-Israeli alliance against Iranian hegemony.
