Although the differences between Sunnis and Shiites have led to a huge divide in the Muslim world (and might be the iron and clay that do not mix well in the feet of the statue/empire in Daniel 2:33) - I agree that many prophecies from the Bible and other sources confirm that Turkey will become more dominated by religious extremist views and will ally with Iran against Israel (and probably the entire West.)
